He pet his head, leaning down to the same height as him, ☼Now you’re getting the hang of it..By the way.. That’s your water for the day.. I hope you enjoy it. He walked back sitting against the wall, watching him, trying to think of what to do to him next, ☼Would you like to play a game?
He almost growled at him, but kept himself in line. He thought about that being his only water for the day, debating on whether or not the water was worth killing his pride for. Deciding it was, he started licking some of the water off of his arm, although there wasn’t much. He wiped some off his face, trying to drink that too. “Wha— Er, yes master,” he said, stopping himself before he could ask what the game was. No questions.
He laughed, amused, clapping lightly, ☼I’m so proud. I thought it’d take longer to train you. I was thinking, we play this little game I made up.. I’ll ask you questions, if you get them right, you win something, food, water, your blanket, and if you get it wrong, I take something more away from you. Right now you have nothing else to lose… What do you say?
He did glare at the man when he mentioned being trained. He just wanted to live, that wasn’t ‘trained’. For that matter, he wasn’t his pet. “I don’t have anything right now. What if I lose on the first question?” He hoped that didn’t count as a bad question. He just wanted to know what more could be taken from him. Would future supplies be taken away?
☼I’ll start off the game, by giving you your blanket back. He smiled lifting it up and tossing it to him. ☼If you lose the first question, you lose the blanket, and if you lose the next question, I’ll have to take something else. Maybe cut off some of that hair. He smirked.☼I’ll have to punish you later for asking a question. So, would you like to play?
Alek caught the blanket and wrapped it back around himself, wiping off some of the water he wasn’t drinking. He nodded at the instructions, hoping the questions would be easy and not something like ‘how many atoms are in an elephant’ or something. The mention of being punished later for just that question made him hesitant to say anything anymore. It also made him want to agree to the game even more. Maybe he’d forget about the punishment by then. At the very least, it would be put off a ways. “Sure,” he said, then thought and added, “Master.”
