This was originally a Sci-fi RP character, although I only have the info for the AU version of him on here. I generally only use that version, but if you want to possibly RP with the more steampunk version of him, tell me. I just never do, so I have taken down the info.

Basic Info:

Name: Alek

Age: 25

Height: 5’6’’

Weight: 140 lbs

Appearance: Alek is a bit on the short side, something he doesn’t particularly like being reminded of, and also rather skinny. He originally had red-orange hair and green eyes, but the transformation into a vampire made the hair much more red and the eyes closer to yellow.

As for clothing, it changes based on the location. His clothes at work are obviously very different from his usual clothes. Generally, he just wears jeans and T-shirts. He’s a fan of bright colors.

Bio:

Briefly: Alek is currently in the process of switching jobs. For the past about six months, he’s been working at a bar called the Black Rose where he has been selling himself (and his blood) to vampires, demons, and other immortals. Now, however, he plans to change that and try to get a safer job.

As for family, he is currently dating Yuli, and they’re taking care of a kid, Briar, together. Yuli found him after his parents, also demons, had been killed. He and Yuli plan to adopt Briar if they can’t find any other relatives. He also has a daughter named Rose, but Alek and the mother do not get along too well and Rose lives with her.

Longer Bio: Alek Murray first moved to his current city around two years ago. At first life went pretty well for him. It wasn’t perfect, but he got into the schedule of working in the evening, going to the local bar at night, and sleeping in till noon the next day. Parties were frequent and so were one night stands.

This life suddenly came to a halt, however, when he found out that one of those people he had been with was pregnant with his child. The mother of his child was Sapphire, a vampire whom he unfortunately did not get along with very well. The two argued constantly, only taking a break for makeup sex. It was never meant to be a relationship, but Alek felt he should be there for her.

Not too long after finding out, the half vampire child was born. They named her Rose.

They had an okay, although chaotic, relationship for a short while, but then Sapphire started leaving without explaining where she was disappearing to for days, and Alek started cheating. Even when they were both there, that only led to disagreements over how to parent.

During this time, Alek started seeing Mikael, a 17 year old boy who was also already in a relationship. Their being together caused problems for both of them. This was in addition to the many problems they already had. Alek tried to help, but because he was also dating Sapphire, they didn’t see each other often. Mikael ended up killing himself.

Before that, though, Sapphire and Alek ended up breaking up. They ended up screaming at each other before Sapphire kicked him out, then ran away with Rose.

Through a twist of fate (magic anons, in other words), Mikael ended up coming back to life, but as a vampire. Alek was of course in awe of this, and they managed to have a pretty good relationship for a short while. Unfortunately, Sapphire came back, she and Alek slept together, and she turned him into a vampire as well. He then proceeded to kill Mikael, and attempt to kill himself once he came back to his senses.

At this point, Sapphire found him and brought him back to her house. She planned to keep him there until he could get used to the change, but he and Rose ended up getting in a fight that ended with Rose trying to kill him. Though Sapphire let him stay locked up in her room, he soon ran away again.

This was when he visited his friend, Lauren, and they started making plans for how to get by. Alek didn’t have much money saved up, and he wasn’t looking forward to returning to the apartment where he had killed Mikael. He also didn’t know how he would act around so many humans.

This eventually led to them both meeting up with Lauren’s previous boss, River, who owns the Black Rose. He hired both of them.

Soon after that, he met Yuli. Alek was at first only interested in feeding off of him, but he soon found out that Yuli was in fact possessed by a demon. He was trying to escape a cult, and Alek let him stay in his house.

It didn’t take long before that started dating, though Alek still felt guilt over Mikael’s death. Yuli has helped him work through most of it, but he still occasionally feels he doesn’t deserve to be happy. This is usually only in response to big changes or something else upsetting happening, but it’s changed him. Then again, his job hasn’t really helped all that much.

The main things that convinced him he had to get a new job were the risks (he ended up stabbed), and then when they found Briar. They haven’t had much luck on the search, and neither Alek nor Yuli want to raise Briar in the Black Rose.
